Safe House
One of ERIPOTO's key programs is the Safe House. We are currently sheltering 36 girls, three toddlers, and two boys. We give residents in the Safe House a safe space by providing them with meals, accommodation, healthcare, support, and also counseling. We offer them hope, mentoring, and care, and we ensures that all school necessities are provided including uniforms, school fees, school supplies, stationery, and upkeep money.

capacity building & Life Skills
ERIPOTO is mentoring students in primary and secondary schools on various topics including mental and physical health, decision-making and problem-solving skills, and violence prevention. Our seminars are designed to equip students with essential skills that are vital for their academic success, personal development, and well-being. In 2025, we will reach nearly 8,500 students in seven primary schools and four secondary schools with this program.

Our community outreach program equips women in rural Tanzanian villages with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to become leaders, entrepreneurs, and advocates for change. Our programs focus on economic empowerment, gender-based violence prevention, menstrual health, and climate resilience—while also emphasizing the vital role women play in shaping stronger, more equitable communities. We aim to inspire women to support and mentor the next generation of girls, encouraging them to dream beyond traditional roles. In 2025, we will reach more than 1,000 women across the communities of Mfereji, Lengijave, and Njiro.

heart-to-school initiative
Apart from mentoring girls through our seminars, ERIPOTO also supports girls in our partner schools by providing school necessities such as uniforms, shoes, notebooks, pens, and sanitary pads to help them attend school with confidence. In 2024, we supported over 200 girls in rural schools where families struggle to provide these resources for their children.

Day Care &
PreSchool
In 2024, Eripoto opened a day care and preschool to support the needs of its neighbors and to raise funds to support its mission. Neighborhood families pay a small fee for this service, and the toddlers in our Safe House program are also participants in this early childhood learning environment.

Entrepreneurship initiative
Learning entrepreneurial skills equips girls with the confidence to tackle an array of roles in their lives. ERIPOTO teaches girls practical skills that can lead to income generation in the future, encouraging them to be self-reliant and preparing them to be independent women in the future.
All Safe House participants are involved in making handbags, school uniforms, beaded jewelry, soap, baked goods, and cards. The sale of these items supports ERIPOTO's mission.

international women's day
In commemoration of International Women's Day, ERIPOTO teams up with other NGOs and stakeholders to reach over 100 women, men, and girls, which includes government and church leaders from Monduli District in northern Tanzania. The goal is to build awareness on gender justice, equality, and harmful cultural practices while celebrating women and inspiring young girls.
